Aerynne made her way to her dorm with speed. She closed the door behind herself and flopped down on her bed, her knapsack cradled in both arms above her stomach. The new trainer was so excited, she could hardly bare it. However, she would not rush, and assumed that Cuscuta needed some time to realize its new life. This brought Aerynne to the decision of going over the two maps she had been given in The Room. She was surprised to discover that the size of the building likely coincided with the pool, and that there were not many classrooms to speak of, and no traditional classrooms at all.
When she had thoroughly digested the information specific to the world around her, or in lemans terms - when she was convinced she wouldn't get lost, Aerynne sat up and placed her backpack on the floor. She extracted Cuscuta's Poke Ball and released her Tangela onto her bed, convinced that this was enough time to give her pokemon for the time being.
"El?" Cuscuta peeped, querying Aerynne before pacing around the foot of the bed, looking around the room.
"How do you like it?" Aerynne asked casually. "It will be our room for quite some time."
"La ... La-la," Cuscuta called, appearing rather pleased with the room. Aerynne smiled and moved to lay on her stomach with her face up close to the pokemon.
"So I feel rude asking but I feel I should know ... are you a boy?" the trainer blushed as she asked the question, unsure of how Cuscuta would react, and it appeared it was with reason as the Tangela appeared to grow its vines puffed out like a blowfish before shaking its head, or rather, whole body distinctly. "Oh how silly of me," Aerynne interjected, causing the pokemon to freeze, "of course you're such a pretty little girl."
"Tang ..." cooed Cuscuta, looking down at the bed, apparently abashed. Aerynne giggled.
"And you know what?" Aerynne lied, "That's why I gave you such a pretty name - it's of a creeping vine plant in my homeland, and is very beautiful."
"Ng?" Cuscuta gurgled, extending one of her vines out in front of her face, before smiling and moving her weight from one foot to the other. "La, la, la!" she sang, before falling onto her bottom, Aerynne started to sigh in relief that she hadn't fallen off the bed until Cuscuta started slipping off the comforter. Aerynne luckily caught the pokemon by the foot and then they sighed in unison.
The trainer pulled her pokemon up into her lap and ruffled her brow. "Maybe we should work on your balance ..."
"Tan?" Cuscuta chirped, looking upwards at her trainer.
"Yes, I think that's what we'll do," Aerynne said with more determination. Nodding as she set the pokemon on the floor and took to her feet, gathering her pack once more. "We'll check out the Gym and work on our balance."
