Aerynne was stoked! Unfortunately, one could hardly tell considering the amount of nerves that were overwhelming that other sensation. Her mind was squealing from the satisfaction of being inside the academy. She had already been assigned to a dorm and was now pacing The Room. The test that would bind her with her first pokemon sat atop a desk, and Aerynne was ready for it. Her momentum gained, the young woman stopped fiddling with one of her two french braids that were frazzled and falling apart. Her right hand, which hadn't been playing with her hair, stopped twirling her pencil and held it firm in her grasp, ready for use. 'Let's see,' she thought to herself, 'number one, You're obedient ...'Aerynne was not ready for this test. Her mouth opened and closed and her pencil wavered. Was she obedient? Her tendencies usually kept her in line, but she wasn't a drone. Her lack of obedience is what brought her to this school in the first place. 'Uhm ... B.' She scribbled nervously. 'Number two, You're energetic. Ah, well that's an easy one. A.' Pleased with herself, Aerynne giggled and then found herself relaxed. Her eyes bulged and then closed down to a normal sizing where one could see her dark green eyeshadow. The girl with thick eyeliner and fake lashes let her blue eyes flutter over the questions as she impulsively assigned herself to answers on the questionnaire. 1. You're obedient. B 2. You're energetic. A 3. You always look on the bright side of life. B 4. Cheering people up isn't difficult. D 5. You have a lot of friends. C 6. You're kind to everyone. A 7. School is fun. C 8. You're curious. A 9. You're intelligent. C 10. You roll solo. E 11. You're emotional. D 12. You have a temper. A 13. You're a daydreamer. A 14. You're always busy. E 15. You're lazy. B 16. You're clumsy. B 17. You're noisy. A 18. You're boring. C 19. You don't really care. E 20. You're a born leader. C 21. You like to boast. A 22. You like furry Pokemon. B 23. You like squishy (soft) Pokemon. B 24. You like dark/creepy looking Pokemon. A 25. You like cute, adorable Pokemon. A 26. You like dangerous Pokemon. A 27. Pick your 3 favourite types of Pokemon. Grass, Fire and Electric Once completed, Aerynne picked up the test with both hands and nodded pleasantly at the sheet of paper. Her mind raced at the possibilities, Bulbasaur, Bellsprout, Oddish, Vulpix, Growlithe, Ponyta, Pichu, Electrike or Mareep! With her luck she'd get a Magikarp, but even those floppy fish would not sway her enthusiasm and their growth is rumored to always be worth the work. She smiled weakly at the person at the professor's table, appreciating their patience wholeheartedly. With one extra tug at her excited heart, Aerynne laid her test on the table and asked, "Do I have to wait long for the results?"

OOC:// I think I've lost my muse - adn I'm sorry it just so happens to be on your therad, I'm very sorry. IC:// Reading the piece of paper, the mysterious figure examined it carefully and then slammed it down - taking 3 Pokeballs out of his desk. He threw them toward the girl and each of them erupted in a bright red light. When the lights disappeared, 3 Pokemon were revealed - one going to be chosen to be this girl's partner.

((No worries. ;P S'all good.)) The young woman tossed her head back in surprise as her test was slammed on the table so abruptly. She felt offended, if she had made a mistake in her completion of the test ... well there just should have been more instructions! Or at least he could tell her. What someone else would call a mysterious figure, from Aerynne's perspective was an ominous one and as he reached for his desk, the young woman was nervous as she found herself in a strange setting with no explanations, but as he produced three pokeballs, she sighed in relief and relaxed her posture, realizing that the person was just a strange character. The three pokemon revealed, Aerynne could've squealed joyously. They were all so beautiful, she felt it a shame that she might never have the opportunity to procure the two she did not pick in the future as they were also such rare pokemon. She looked up at the no longer ominous, but now odd figure as she lowered herself to a squatting position to be at the level of the pokemon. The new trainer smiled and hummed appreciatively at the pokemon, and thought about how they would impact her journeys in their prospective powers and evolutions. Aerynne knew that Tangela would evolve when it knew a certain attack ... but when it learned this attack she could not saw. Growlithe required a fire stone at any time, but would not learn any attacks from then on. While lastly, Electrike simply evolved by level and would gain power in a traditional manner. The decision was hard ... but she could not deny that of the three, she did have a preference. Aerynne reached out to rub the underside of the Growlithe's muzzle, hoping that it wouldn't Bite or blow sparks in her direction, as she imagined it was too young for an Ember attack. Although as she moved with intent to pet the fire pokemon, she thought of how adored this particular kind of pokemon was and how many other students may have chosen it as a starter. Aerynne wondered if she'd not be better off choosing the Tangela, a pokemon rarely seen in any circumstances. The trainer stayed her hand and stood to her feet, and spoke to the odd figure, "I've decided then ... I'll take the Tangela. May I ask it's gender? I know it's my starter and I should have some feel for its aura ... but even personality is not a defining feature for sex as we all know." She tried to sound casual, and smiled so that her cheeks pressed up into her eyes. Aerynne was obviously intimated, and worried that the man might only toss her the Tangela's Poke Ball and leave her to figure it out for herself. ((<- Isn't it cute!))

OC:// And yes - oh so very cute XD IC://The mysterious figure nodded with delight adn clapped his hands together, making the Room enlighten with bright light. The figure was in a purple suit and it turned out ot be the Headmaster, Mr.Rushworth - he hugged his Dragonair tightly like a little kid adn squealed with enjoyment as another student walked in, before he returned ot his respectful nature and returned the Growlithe and Electrike. The Tangela was left and he handed the Pokeball over to the girl with a wide grin - then Dragonair calmly layed the bag of items by the girl's feet as they wished her the best of luck on her student career. Despite having received no response, Aerynne was not disappointed in the least. Rather, she was embarrassed, her face stark red as she suddenly recognized the headmaster and graciously took her assigned items from his beautiful pokemon. She bowed curtly and promised, "I will not abuse or abandon the knowledge I gather from your school, Headmaster."
A smile was plastered on her face as the new trainer stood, she couldn't have dismissed it if she had wanted to. She directed this visage to her new pokemon. "Tangel ..." it cooed.
"Come on," Aerynne nodded towards the doorway, away from the direct supervision of the authority. She sat by the doorframe as she organized her items into her school bag, keeping the Tangela's Poke Ball by her side. Once finished, she curled her right hand so that her palm faced upwards and gently offered it to the pokemon. The Tangela stared at it curiously for some time before extending one of its many vines to be held in Aerynne's hand - but just before the two beings touched, the Tangela threw it and several other vines directly upwards and wiggled them around in what might have been a comical manner if the pokemon wasn't pacing back and forth looking so frightened calling, "La! Ela! Gela!"
Aerynne shook her hands up in front of herself, "No, no! It's okay ..." she faltered. She should assign a name to the poor little thing, if only to strengthen their bond. " ... Cuscuta."
The Tangela's cries stopped short and its vines slowly fell back into their organized mess. It peered at Aerynne suspiciously, who did her best to provide a reassuring face. "That's right, Tangela. I will be your trainer, and I get to name you - and I'm calling you Cuscuta."
The pokemon's eyes widened as it mumbled, "Tang-tangela ..."
"Tangela!" This exclamation was made of pleasure, rather than fear. Cuscuta did not dive into Aerynne's embrace, or anything so traditional, but the bond was made, and the young woman was pleased that she hadn't had to leave The Room with a crying pokemon. With one last approving nod, Aerynne directed the Poke Ball at her[/b] new pokemon and had it return. She decided that that was probably enough excitement for Cuscuta's immediate future and that they could converse and connect away from these testing grounds. With her pack on her shoulder, Aerynne left.
