Name: Joanna 'Jon' Togo Age: Eighteen Gender: Female Species: Human Dorm House Wanted: Betwix House Class Taking: Breeder Basics
Appearance: Joanna is a fairly tall young woman, standing at an average of six feet and a little bit when fully erect. It is evident from the young woman's form that she tries to do at least a little bit of excersize every day; Jon has a slim body, already showing various signs of adulthood rapidly approaching, muscles subtly outlined on her torso, arms and legs. Her skin has a neat, somewhat olive-ish tone to it, most likely from spending quite a bit of time outside. Her face is somewhat heart-shaped, with high cheekbones and a sharp chin that give her a more mature look than she really is. In contrast, her eyes are bigger and more child-like, the irises coloured a bright amber. Jon's hair is quite long, nearly reaching her waist when left loose; most of the time, though, the young woman wears her dark, reddish brown hair in a ponytail or tight braid - this is where most of the Lara Croft references originate from. Oddly enough, in some lighting Jon's hair appears to be of a dark shade of purple, but really; it's reddish brown. I swear. *whistles innocently*
While, like with most people, Jon's wardrobe changes depending on the weather, she does enjoy her darker colours, mainly black, dark gray and navy blue. On warmer days, Joanna usually opts for a black tanktop that reveals her belly and the rather tribal-looking tattoo on her right shoulder and upper arm, along with a pair of denim shorts, a thick black belt holding it to her hips. On colder days, Jon usually wears long sleeved shirts or turtleneck shirts of dark colorations. Also, she prefers jeans over any other kind of pants, and is most commonly found wearing those.
Personality: If you're looking for a highschool sweetheart, Joanna is not the person you want. Jon is more of a tomboy than anything else, nearly radiating authority whenever she walks into a room. Though silent most of the time, Jon is an easy one to get on the wrong side of, and whenever that happens she turns into a very loud, obnoxious young woman. She never lets her opinion be unheard, doesn't bend but breaks and sticks for what she believes in, always giving it a hundred percent.
Despite looking like she could break your neck if she wanted, something she probably could anyhow, Joanna has a soft side to her she prefers to hide. To a select few people she allows to call her their friend, Jon is kind and extremely protective. She's quite the good listener if she wants to be, and though not the best one to turn to advice too seeing as she doesn't quite know what to say mostly, Jon never gives up on something without giving it a try first.
History: Pyrite Town is never a fun place to grow up in. The surroundings are not ideal to raise children, let alone four of them, but for Griffin Togo, Pyrite Town was perfect. After all, his parents raised him in this dump, and he got by pretty well in the end. A lovely wife and four beautiful children, a house, a job, and healthy finances to keep his family supported.
Five years after the birth of Greg and three years after the birth of Calix, Joanna came into the world. As she grew up, the girl got along especially well with her male siblings - after school she would usually go hang out on Pyrite Square with Calix and Greg at her side, admiring the various performers, riders and other thugs that were there. Her parents were usually pretty okay with that, but when the performers and riders began carrying creatures called Pokémon more and more often, Griffin and Melanie preferred to keep their children inside. Joanna didn't agree.
It became more of a habit for Jon to sneak outside to play on the Square, where some of the 'regulars' decided to take the then twelve-year old under their wing. Joanna became familiar with the delicate art of pickpocketing and scamming, at least, until her brothers decided it was better for her to tell their parents. The parents weren't pleased and sent twelve-year old Joanna away from Pyrite Town, to a boarding school in faraway Hoenn. There, in Rustboro City, Jon mellowed down. She kept her rebellish personality and picked up smoking at the rather tender age of fifteen, but the contact with Pokémon seemed to do miracles for the teenage girl.
After graduating the Pokémon School in Rustboro, Joanna found herself unable to go on a Pokémon journey. The whole concept just didn't appeal to her. Jon wanted to do different things, and be big without battling. The school advised the young adult to move to a new school, the Trinity Sky Academy, and with the support of her parents, Joanna moved and enrolled herself at the Academy.
Other Information:
- Jon is a chainsmoker; she's nowhere without her pack of smokes and zippo lighter.
- If the above mentioned ciarettes are taken away or if Jon isn't allowed to smoke for whatever the reason, she resorts to opening her lighter, lighting a flame and closing the lighter again repeatedly. Addicted? Who?
- Joanna severly dislikes comparisons between her and Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise, no matter how obvious they might be.
- Jon is ambidextrous, meaning she doesn't have a 'dominant' right or left side; she can write with both hands, for example.
- Joanna secretly has a soft spot for baby Pokémon, Cleffa in peticular.
- Even though she heavily denies it, Jon's eyesight isn't amazing anymore; she wears reading glasses, but only when nobody can see her. She has a tough girl image to keep up with, after all.
Where did you find us? Uhm... An affilate on Pokémon Gobnait/The Minako Region, I believe.

Very nice. Accepted, well done. And as I always say - don't forget to put a link to your character in your signature.

Party Pokémon &&
[/font] && name: Lephise && species: Gligar && type(s): Ground/Flying && gender: Male && personality: Lephise is a pretty simple Gligar. He enjoys the small things that make every day extraordinary. Like clamping onto people's faces, playing a good prank here and there, and getting on Joanna's nerves, of course. While taking quite a lot of pleasure in especially the latter action, Lephise knows when he crosses the line with his owner and will rarely annoy her into a fit of rage. You could say the Gligar has a certain amount of respect for his owner... Kind of.
&& level: oo5 && attacks: Poison Sting && Sand Attack && ability: Sand Veil boosts Lephise's evasion in a sandstorm
&& other:
- Received as Starter Pokémon; lvl. oo5
- Lephise wears a lime green bandana around his neck
