OOC:// I seem to have no muse or inspiration at the moment, sorry - it happens now and again.
IC://Spheal happily disappeared inside the Pokeball with a rbight red flash, the seal throbbed red and white as it jiggled slowly and then the faint and delightful PING was heard. Indictaing Spheal's capture.
Name: Choice Species: Spheal Gender: Male Level: 6 Ability: Ice Body Attacks: Defense Curl, Water Gun, Growl, Powder Snow Personality: This Spheal is a little eccentric and doesn't really see the bad point sin life. He's always happy. And I mean always. He is contionously seen smiling, grinning, singing, jumping, rolling, bouncing - anything associated with being enthusiastic and happy go lucky, every single moment of the day. Everything to him is fun, even falling to his death seems fun - and {name} is always looking for an adevnture. He's a very optomistic and loveable character to have on any team.

ooc// Don' worry
ic// Furumi grinned, choosing to let Spheal out of his Pokéball for the time being. The rotund seal clapped his flippers together as he emerged, giggling. ~You caught Spheal! Spheal nice and happy, now!~ he smiled. Furumi nodded to the bouncy Pokémon. "Should Furu- I mean, should I give you a name? How about Azi?" he asked. Azi thought about it, then nodded eargerly. ~Spheal is Azi. Azi wants to know where Fairo is!~ the Ice type nodded, looking about.
Furumi swore under his breath. Where could the Houndour have got to? His ear twitching, swivelling about to try and pick up a sound. Hearing none, he sort of wished he had managed to catch a Zubat; the echolocation would be useful right now. He could see the path ahead. Fairo must have walked down there. "Fairo? FAIRO!" Furumi shouted, startling Azi since he was normally so silent. After many echoes, they heard the Houndour's faint call, and ran ahead to find him.

The little Pokemon had been silently sleeping against the moist cave walls when two Zubat ahd flown past her and then started some kind of loud commotion at the mouth of the cave. They had disturbed her sleep and she was rubbing the sleep away and slowly standing up when the Zubt suddenly flew bakc and the otehr way. She didn't really understand what had happened as she was stll in some kind fo mid sleep daze. But hearing something padding toward her she quickly hid behind a rock. Peeking to see what was coming her way she saw a rather hadnsome, tall and proud looking Pokemon. It was a Houndour and when she saw her kinght in shimmering fur she jumped out and grabbed his leg. She clasped to it as tight as possible, not letting go - thankful that the Pokemon had come to save this little baby Pokemon. Despite the fire type trying to shake her off, this Pokemon wouldn't let go of her new daddy - the one who came to save her. However as he continued to hold tight she heard some faint cries and the Pokemon replying to them. Just what was coming now.... What was coming to get Smoochum and her new daddy....

Fairo snarled, shaking his leg. What was wrong with this stupid Smoochum! They had no need for such a wimp! It wasn't as though they didn't have an Ice type, and Smoochum and Jynx weren't the most powerful of Pokémon! He sighed, before standing still and listening. He was gonna go back to Furumi, but he couldn't now. To help the boy locate him, he let out a loud, long, howl, which echoed off the walls of the cave. The dog waited for his trainer to come, hearing his answering shout and staying still.
Furumi, after shouting back to Fairo, began to run towards him. Azi wasn't fast enough, so Furumi picked the Spheal up, where he giggled as the wind rushed in his face. The trainer soon found Fairo, and glanced at the Smoochum. "Um... Fairo..." he commented, hiding a snicker.
Fairo rolled his eyes. ~Yeah, yeah, I know. She won't let go for some reason. Maybe she's lost or scared or something.~ he said.
Furumi raised an eyebrow, before nodding and bending down to Smoochum. "Are you lost? Would you like us to take you to your parents?" he asked her, looking about for any sign of a Jynx or another Smoochum. He could hear other Pokémon, but they sounded less friendly.

Smoochum pulled a grumpy face when the trange looking human bent down to be eye level with her - she gave him an evil glare; it seemed he wanted to take Smoochum's new daddy aay from her. But Smoochum wouldn't let go. So she clung even tighter to the Houndour's leg as she stared warningly at Furumi. It seemed that Furumi wanted to help her, but he could have some alteria motive and so SMoochum mumbled with a hint of anger, "You want to take Smoochum's new daddy away, but Smoochum won't let you. Smoochum doesn't want to lose her new daddy like she lost her mummy." Smoochum continued to ruffle her face into the soft fur of the canine, slight tears welling up in her tear ducts as she remembered her mummy adn how they got seperated.

Furumi blinked. Smoochum was seperated from her mother? Furumi could not imagine how that felt; he literally had no mum. No biological mum, any way. He supposed the scientists had been the closest thing he had to parents, and they were hardly loving. So, although he had never actually lost anything, he was still sad about not having parents and knew how Smoochum must feel in that sense. However, it seemed that this young Pokémon's mother hadn't died, but merely got lost. He wondered if he would ever find that Dragon type...
A cough from Fairo brought him to his senses. "Oh. Right. Smoochum, don't worry. I'm not going to take Fai- your 'new daddy' away from you. I know how you feel; my mummy and my daddy are both gone forever, and they will never ever come back. As for your mummy, we can find her. We'll get her back. Would you like that?" he asked her. Fairo nodded, ~Let's hurry.~ he said, not exactly one for cute Pokémon. Especially clingy ones.

When the Smoochum heard the story given by Furumi, her eyes started to swell, and tears dropped down. She started to cry even more than she was before. Now the idea that her mother might be gone forever was stuck in her head. It made her feel sick. And even though Furumi did say "we can find her", there was no certainty in the voice given by the Human.
It was her loss of sleep and tiredness which probably made her overreact just that little bit too much. And it was the loss of sleep which caused her to collapse, eyes closed, on her back. It appears that the Smoochum had fainted of tiredness, for a different reason than normal.
The helpless baby Smoochum has fainted! Leave and go on? Or stay with it until it wakes up again?

Furumi had been about to comfort the tearing Smoochum when she fainted. Oh, how odd and random. He and Fairo exchanged glances, before he shrugged and lifted Smoochum into his arms. The poor little thing would be too weak to survive too long in a cave filled with Ice and Dragon types, after all. He couldn't just leave her. He needed to take her to her parents, and then leave. Perhaps he'd look for a Dragon type, too, while he was at it; dragons were cool Pokémon.
And so, he ventured deeper into the cave, Fairo trotting at his heels. The Houndour sniffed constantly, trying to find a scent of Smoochum's mum. Perhaps they'd be able to get a guide, too; that would be useful. Some Pokémon who knew where Smoochum and Jynx liked to hang out.

Furumi had picked up the Smoochum in his arms. Her body was rested in his hands, her head dangling, tongue out. Not the nicest of all pictures, to be honest with you.
After a few seconds, a loud nouse coming from group of Piloswine entered the scene, and then the actual pokemon following the annoying sound. They were going towards a destination, and they were not in the happiest of moods. You could see a few Swinub trailing behind them, sort of lost in what was happening. Meaning they weren't in the worst of moods, they actually found this more of an adventure. And then after the Swinub, came a Vibrava. It looked as if the Vibrava was either in the group, going to the same place, or chasing the group of Swines. It wasn't though, it just happened to be going the same place. It looked quite, uneasy, unstable or just unsure. All of a sudden it jerked towards Furumi and Fairo, and was about to attack, but saw the Smoochum in the Trainer's arms. It stopped still, and then all of a sudden became really twitchy.
It appears that Vibrava may have encountered the Smoochum in the past and doesn't like the memory. Now what will you choose? Vibrava? Smoochum? Or follow the herd of Piloswine?

Furumi's ears pricked up at the sight of the Vibrava's nervousness. How interesting. This Vibrava must have encountered Smoochum or Jynx before, and not found the experience pleasant. It would be able to give him some information! Now, he just had to win it over. That should be easy enough, right? "Hello, Vibrava. My name is Furumi, and this is Fario the Houndour. Is something the matter?" he asked. Fairo felt he ought to add a bit to that. Furumi didn't have the best social skills in the world, after all. ~You can talk, it's all right, this Smoochum is unconcious, see.~ he told the Pokémon.

The Virbrava began to settle, but was still a little, unnormal. It looked behind itself, checking that no one was going to hear what he has to say. +She's definately asleep, right? There's no way I'll tell you what happened without 100% certainty that this smoochum can not hear what a say. It will cause havoc. It will cause noise. And with those Piloswines roaming around, trust me, noise is the last thing you want. Even my talking is risking us being attacked. Come into this room, I'll tell you what to do from there. And whatever you do. DO NOT bring the baby.+ he explained, briefly. It pointed it's head towards the room where it addressed Furumi to go.
Take the path and see what's inside? Or stay with the Smoochum and make sure it's fine at all costs?

Furumi bit his lip. This was a bit of a dilemna. He couldn't leave Smoochum, but this information could be horribly, vitally important. His wings twitched where they were clenched against his back, although this would be unseen. He had an idea, though. He could see how much Smoochum trusted Fairo. He hated to leave him behind, even if it were not for that long, but it was something that had to be done. For Smoochum's sake. He gritted his teeth before trying to relax and say the words. His voice was a little rough, though. "Fairo, Azi, you stay with Smoochum. I myself shall see whatever lies on this path." he gave them a breif smile. The Houndour and Spheal nodded, understanding. Furumi nodded to Vibrava, walking where it had told him to go. He wondered if this were a trap. He hoped not.

The second he told Fairo of his plan, the Vibrava's eyes grew. Not a small amount. But pretty much popped out of his head. He was amazed. He did not see this coming. His eyes kept viewing different parts of where he could see. Finally, he came up with an idea. "Trust me. Leaving your pokémon here is not a good idea. Those Piloswines. They'll kill your pokémon. You'll never see them again, they'll never see daylight again. For your sake, I would keep them with you. Just incase."
He stumbled. He slanted the left side of his mouth downwards, hoping this "thing" will work.

Furumi frowned. Kill? But surely that would apply to Smoochum, too? He didn't want Smoochum to die. He looked about fratically for somewhere safe he could leave her. A ledge, a rock formation, anything. Eventually, he spied an indent that was higher up the wall than the Piloswine, yet still too low down to be the home of Zubat or the like. He lay her inside, setting a rock in front of the entrance which covered the bottom half of it. "Right. I'm ready." he said firmly, turning to Vibrava and following him.

Vibrava nodded. "Ok. Follow me" he declared. He lead the Trainer into this room, smiling. When all 3 of the reached the point in which they would turn to face the room, there was - in easy words - and earthquake. Rumbling, Crumbling, Tumbling. Fast. Vibrava looked behind him. His eyes grew of fright. He could see, and so could everyone else, a giant empty crack in the wall. It was pretty near where the Smoochum was placed. I guess it wasn't the best hiding places after all. "Uh-oh. This can't be good. It must be the Steelix. They're probably getting through here because the Piloswines are blocking the paths. What about Smoochum? That was all subtext. In his head he was simply just really happy. Nothing could go wrong now.
