The bracing cold of the Powder Snow did little damage, as they were Ice Types. However, the Ember made both Pokemon wince and dive for cover.
Being the strong little girl she was, Smoochum ran at Charmander with a full on Pound attack. Snorunt, being the weak link of the two, didn't exactly know what to do so he used another Leer to lower defenses.

{{Lol me too}} Logan snickered. "Charmander, Ember again. Finish Snorunt off! And Snover, use Leer on Smoochum!" he requested.
His eyes were the only thing to move as he looked at his pokemon doing as he told them to.

The Snorunt cried out at the attack, but wasn't finished yet. He glowered and used another Leer. He was weak, and was possible for capture... not that he might not escape, that is.
Smoochum was outraged at this assault on her friend, and aimed another Pound at the now severally defenseless Charmander.

Logan wasn't interested in this battle one bit. He just wanted to get the quest over and done with. He hadn't even started it yet. He got his Pokeball out, ready for a capture. He threw it right at the Smoochum, very cleverly. Even Charmander looked shocked. Surely he was supposed to throw it at Snorunt, the weaker of the two, but he didn't. In Logan's head, it worked out perfectly. "Yes! Now while that stops Smoochum from attacking temporarily, I can whip out a few attacks to Snorunt alone!" He boomed in appraisal for himself. He secretly wanted to capture the Smoochum too, but it wasn't that important to him. "Charmander, another Ember, Snover use Razor Leaf, I don't care how weak it is but use it anyway!"
He stepped back and watched how his two pokemon did as he asked and how the ball was still shaking after all this. Will he catch it? Will he not?

The Smoochum blinked in confusion as it was sucked into the red and white sphere. The ball fell to the ground, the center flashing red. The ball shook fervently for a few seconds, only to burst open with a 'poof' of smoke. She looked, enraged, at Logan; Because of him, her turn was lost.
While all of this was happening. Snorunt, with much effort, managed to avoid the Ember. The Razor Leaf, on the other hand, hit dead on. He cried out in pain as the sharp leaves scratched him. He fell over, but wasn't down. Yet. Though he was weak, sore, and tried he used what little of his strength was left to use a Double Team attack.
With in a few seconds, five clones of himself were beside him. To cause confusion, he and his copies ran around in a fashion so that the Trainer, and his Pokemon, wouldn't know which was the original.
Sorry, Trainer, but Capture: Failed.

Logan thought for a few seconds... Then he had a plan. "Snover, use Powder Snow on everyone! And after you have been left with the last one, use Ember Charmander!"
He turned around at Abomasnow. She was looking down at him, he was looking up at her. He smiled. Then he rotated his body 180° and looked again at the battle.

Smoochum didn't even flinch when the Powder Snow hit her. She just sat there, in thought. This Trainer was stronger than the ones before. She frowned as the obvious answer, that could mean victory, dawned on her. She would do something she hoped she would never do again.
Ignoring the searing pain form the Ember, Smoochum charged straight at Charmander. She lept... and planted a Sweet Kiss right on him. When she was back on her feet, she stuck her tongue out and blew a razz berry in distaste. She hated that attack.
Snorunt, on the other hand, was not fairing so well. His already weak state doubled with the Power Snow and Ember had left him... Fainted. ((<-- Very descriptive. *coughSARCASMcough*)
Charmander is now confused. Snorunt is available for capture. Snover and Charmander will each gain one level AFTER the battle.

looool Sarcasm
Logan had to make a decision. Capture Snorunt now? or leave it? Being a coordinator, he new Ice Types were so appealing and attractive, so he thought he'd go for the capture. So he got a pokeball out from his belt. But for a different reason. He first wanted to finish the match. "Charmander, Return!" he shouted. He held the ball out and watched as it got sucked into it. Then, he announced similar words. "Charmander, out you come!"
So what if Charmander can't attack this turn? He's confused anyway. And he used this tactic to snap him out of it, and, to make the smoochum pretty annoyed. "Snover, Razor Leaf!" he demanded boldly.

Smoochum was now very P.O.ed. In her blind fury, she managed to dodge the Razor Leaf attack, and then charged at the Charmander with her most powerful pound attack. She knew that it must be tired. And she knew this attack would do a great deal of damage, maybe even enough to Faint it once and for all.
Smoochum's Pound will be a Critical Hit on Charmander.

...aren't you supposed to tell me if i faint? meh i'll just say that it didn't. blame it on the mod

Logan smiled, and frowned at the same time. He liked the experience. But not the amount of time being taken. On the other hand, he had all the time in the world, but was too eager to know what the quest was. Hopefully not more battling. Although if he battled in a quest, he'd feel more of an acomplishment than usual.
He looked at his nearly-beaten Charmander, the nearly-beaten Smoochum, and the Snover in pretty much perfect condition. "Snover, use Leer! and then Charmander, use your final Ember! Don't worry about recoil or using up your energy, I have a few potions to help you when your down. Come on.. You can do this!

ooc// Nope, you get to say whether you faint or not. Also, Charmander doesn't know Flamethrower yet, so I've changed it to the Ember which is on your profile.
ic// Drat! The Charmander was still on his feet, Smoochym saw. Shame. The Ice type Pokémon cringed, moving a few wobbly steps backwards at the sight of Snover's peircing gaze. It was pretty scary, actually. The little human-like Pokémon saw that Charmander had then set loose an Ember attack. Oh, dear! she was struck full-on by the Fire type attack, the super effective move being more than enough needed to make her faint. She collapsed to the ground, not moving. She'd fainted.
Smoochum was defeated! She is now catchable! Charmander and Snover gain two levels each (one from Smoochum, one from Snorunt)

ooc// ok thanks, well i know that now. And yeah i was thinking of flamethrower at the time...... lol yeah it was supposed to be ember.
ic//
Logan smiled. Another victory for his team. Plus he could finally get on with the quest. "Nice one Charmander! And you Snover too of course!" He added to give support. But he'd had enough battling for now. He looked at his pokédex. One more level until Charmanders next move, two more levels until Snover's. That wouldn't be too hard. And Charmander is actualy quite close to evolving. So even though he was bored of battling, he still wanted battles to come so he could get stronger. So he didn't want too many, but he did want some.
Before going on, he looked at Abomasnow. "Abomasnow do you mind waiting a bit? Just a few minutes. I want Snover and Charmander to catch their breath and rest up a bit. I wouldn't want them fainting on me. He asked. He sat down on his bag, at the entrance to the cave, where there was a little bit of snow. Charmander blew fire into the sky to warm the place up.

Abomasnow nodded. He understood completely. It would be very important indeed for the Pokémon to get some rest, after all. His bulky form sat down on a rock in front of the cave. Now Charmander had blown a flame up, he felt a little uncomfortable going from sudden cold to sudden warm. Plus, he preferred the cold anyway. He allowed time for the trainer and Pokémon to rest, before walking into the cave himself.
~Well, are we ready to move on yet?~ he asked, impatient to watch Logan continue in his cave quest.

Logan looked at his Charmander, then his Snover. Then he took a final glance at Abomasnow. "Yeah! I think so! Ok, let's find out what this quest is all about." He was nervous. You could hear it in his voice. You could see it in his movements. But he had to. He needed to have confidence to be a good Coordinator. How could you get on stage and be scared? So he picked himself up and walked over to the Abomasnow. "Let's go" he exclaimed.

Abomasnow let Logan lead the way. Eventually, they came to a fork in the tunnels. The options were simply left tunnel, or right tunnel. The left tunnel led downwards, but the right led up; a pinprick of light was to be seen at the end. Abomasnow watched, letting the choice of the path be down to Logan. Hadn't he said that the treasure was inside the cave?
