Sulteron listened to the types already stated. There were five types left when I became her turn, so the person after her would only have to say two types. Some of the types that had been spoken had ruled a few off her list, but there were still more to come, of course. "Hm... well, my Mistreavus is a Ghost type, Elekid is an Electric type, and Riolu is a Fighting type... my three types are Ghost, Electric and Fighting." she stated firmly.

Five types left, and two of his already taken. Addison shoved his hands in his pockets, and when it came to be his turn, spoke only twowords- the types he was choosing.
"Normal, Rock."
Not much of a talker, was he? Denial, on the other hand, was having a ball chatting with Hawkeye.
"Nice to meet you, Hawkeye. My Addison it the kid over there with spiky green hair. You can't miss him."
Indeed, he was rather hard to miss, although the bored expression currently plastered across his face made it so that you wouldn't want to look at him too long.

Mr. Taylor nodded with agreement as the types rolled off of the students tongues, with delight he kept nodding until his Kecleon pulled on his clothes and he realised he was still teaching. He startled and then smiled gently adressing the students again, "Excellent. Excellent. Now the first thing to realise about your Pokemon is the weaknesses they have. Some Pokemon have more weaknesses than others and some have a very large vulnerability towards other types. The most important thing is to realise each of your Pokemon's weaknesses otherwise when the time comes to deal with that type of attack you won't know the best way to handle it." Kecleon eyed the student's Pokemon - he knows all of the weakness; his special ability was Colour Change so at any time he could be weak to any type fo attack, so he and his trainer had thought out strategies to handle each and every one. Mr.Taylor pointed a finger at the students and passed it along each of them, "Now, I want each of you to turn to the one Pokemon you have by your side and tell me what ALL of their weaknesses are - that is the most important thing."

Sulteron looked at Hinote, and thought. Hm. Well, he was a Fire type, so obviously Water was weakness there... she could see the Growlithe slowly open his maw and begin to try and tell her something, but she shook her head. "No, Hinote, I'm the one asked the question. A trainer thinks, a Pokémon fights; that's how they work together. I think I've got it..." she quickly went through a few other potentials. She had a feeling that she had once seen a Geodude fighting a Charmander of TV being resistant to Ember, so Rock and Ground must be resistant too.
With those final descisions, Sulteron nodded to herself. "OK, Hinote's a Fire type, so I think he's weak against Water, Rock and Ground types." she declared. Hinote barked in agreement, wagging his tail.

Merle listened intently. Weaknesess....Weaknesses....Everyone had them she supposed so Titan would obviously be no exception. She put a hand to to her chin and looked to the ceiling, deep in thought. As an idea sparked she clicked her fingers and jumped up with a smile on her face. She folded her hands behind her and lent forward slightly with a big goofy grin on her face, "Titan is a Buizel so that makes him a water type. Water is a good conductor of electricity and there are always signs near ponds and stuff they ask to keep elctric types away so that the entire water and Pokemopn in don't get electrucuted. So Titan must be weak to eletcrical type attacks." Merle then looked down toward her Buizel at her side and thought - surely that wasn't his only weakness but what else.... Staring at him intently she began to think about the times when she had no Pokemon, no friends or companions and lived in the outside world. thinking about water environments she continued to search through her mind for another solution....Then she thought of it! She pointed toward her Buizel happily adn shouted, "And plants and trees and grass and everything need sunlight and water to grow so grass types must be strong against water as they absorb it to live, like photosynthesis and all that! So Titan is weak to grass and electric types!" Merle sat down, pleased with her answers. Titan put his one hand on his head adn sighed as he slwoly shook it side to side - at least she ahd got it right. He already knew of course - but every Pokemonknew their weaknesses so it was up to Merle to figure it outm adn luckily she had got it right -though she dind't quite need the explanation.

Amoretta listened quietly as the teacher, and then the other students, talked, all the while pondering what to answer. The choice for what type to choose was obvious. To her, at least.
The Flying Type! That was the only type of Pokemon was even close to being well educated on. She could remember many nights that she fell asleep at the library reading up on them. But what were the weaknesses...? Electric was one, she knew that, but any others?
She smiled and raised her hand again to speak.
"Flying Types are weak against Electric, Ice, and Rock types." She said plainly. Her answer hadn't been much for words, but it should be good enough.

Damien listened to his classmates choices and thought about which of his Pokemon he would choose. Then he realized that one of the other students already used a Fire-type and another used a Flying-type. Guess that leaves him with the steel type. Standing up, Damien said, "Hawkeye is a Steel-type making him vulnerable to Fire- , Fighting- , and Ground-types. However, because he is a Flying-type as well, he is no longer vulnerable to Fighting- and Ground-types, but Electric types instead."
Sitting back down, Damien seemed content with his answer. Hawkeye, however, rolled his eyes at his trainer's answer and said under his breath, ~Show off.~ However, on the inside, Hawkeye was proud of his trainer.

Denial looked over at Addison disapprovingly. They were getting beaten out by Hawkeye's trainer! Her natural competitive streak made her want her trainer to answer something about HER before Hawkeye was discussed.
"Addison's being slow. Oh, look, he's going to pull out Affection."
Indeed, Addison had his second Pokeball in his hand, and released the captive Budew. Affection croo'ed happily at being released, and looked around at the group, interested.
"Affection is a dual Grass and Poison Type, which means that he is resistant to Fighitng, Water, Grass, and Electric Types. However, he's weak to Fire, Flying, Psychic, and Ice types."

Nat looked over towards his small dragon companion and smiled a wide smile as he patted it's head twice. Gible bounced up and down happily and smiled at Nat as he began to pat it's head and it's fangs glistened in the light. "Gible, You're a Dragon and Ground type pokemon. When you evolve you'll be one the of the fastest pokemon in the sky and still have the ground element." He said as Gible proudly bounced up and down excitedly. "But of course every pokemon has a weakness. You being a Ground, Dragon combination are only weak to two other types. Ground would do double damage but, Ice is four times the damage." He stated, "You remember our icy encounters don't you?" Gible nodded and shivered fro the memories of the Swinub it battled and hugged onto Nat's leg.

Mr Taylor clapped his hands together with a soft smiel on his face as teh students read off the weaknesses of the Pokemon sitting next to them - they were definately an intelligent lot. Now that they had discovered and accepted their Pokemon's weaknesses they also needed to know what their strengths were, in order to use them to their advantage. First of all was learning what attacks dealt less damage to each of the student's Pokemon- what type of attacks they were resistant to. He spoke once more and Kecleon lazily relaxed on the benches not really paying attention, "Now that you understand and accept each of your Pokemon's weaknessess the trick now is to understand what they are strong against. Not the types they will be strong against but the types that will be less resistant to each of them. If your Pokemon has two types this might be a little more difficult, for example your Skarmorys and Gibles but I want you to try and think hard about what types of attacks will be less effective on them."

Merle thought about it and then picked up the Buizel at her side, Titan's limbs going floppy in the girl's grasp. He looked at her and sighed heavily - she needed demonstrations in order to learn properly so he would have to deal with Merle poking and prodding him. Merle examined her Buizel and then thought about what attacks don't really har, water. Suddenly she had a brainwave. She stood up and raised Titan high above her head as if he was holy and then threw him up in the air. Titan was taken aback by the sudden throw and flipped on the air landing on Merle's shoulder and hanging over it. Merle put her hands on her hips and smiled, "Well, since Titan is a water type he has several resistances. Since he's water, water attacks don't do much damage and water is strong against fire so fire attacks don't do much damage either. Then there's ice.....since ice is a frozen form of water it doesn't do much damage to water types either and tehre's one more....I think it's steel though to be honest I don't have an explanation for that one." Merle looked at the exhausted Buizel on her shoulder and smiled, putting her fists in her hand, "So what I'm saying is Titan, a Buizel, takes half as much damage from Fire, Water, Ice and Steel type attacks."

SMiling sweetly to his Gible he patted it's head twice and stared into it's eyes, "You're a dragon and Ground type, You are immune to lightning because of the ground attribute. Poison has little effect and neither do fire or rock." Gible happily bounced about as it heard that it's list of resistances beat it's list of weaknesses. The small dragon pokemon began to run circle around Nat while he looked back at the teacher. "Am i right miss?" he asked but almost immeadiately his Gible tackled him into te ground for no reason. The two began to laugh at each other and wrestle back and forth on the ground.

Damien grinned as he thought of all of Hawkeye's resistances. Looking over to his Skarmory, Damien nodded his head. Hawkeye looked over at Denial and said, ~'Scuse me, Denial. Trainer's calling.~ With a flap of his steel wings, Hawkeye soared into the air. Standing up, Damien put his arm into the air and Hawkeye perched on it.
"As one can see, Hawkeye here is a Steel- and Flying-type giving him multiple resistances. He is completely immune to Poison type attacks due to the Steel attribute and Ground-type attacks due to the Flying attribute. The Steel-type gives him a resistance to Flying- , Normal- , Dragon- , Bug- , Psychic- , Ghost- , Dark- , and Grass-types. The Flying-type gives him an edge over Grass- and Bug-types as well." said Damien as he listed off all of Hawkeye's resistances. Looking to his Pokemon to make sure he was correct, the Skarmory nodded his head. Damien then sat down and Hawkeye hopped off of his trainer's arm and onto the seat next to him.

Amoretta twiddled her fingers as she thought. She really wished she knew more about Pokemon...
"My Magby is a Fire type." She said, almost to herself. "I think that means she's resistant to fire attacks. Ice can't do much damage to her, and neither can Grass. Bug and Steel can't do a lot, either."
She cradled Teacup's Pokeball in her hands, but didn't let the fiery tyke out.

Sulteron looked at Hinote. A Fire type. So, clearly, Water would do little to harm her. Normally, he would only take half the damage from Fire type attacks, but because his Ability was Flash Fire, he was completely immune to Fire type attacks. Then Grass, Bug, Ice... there was quite a few, which made her glad and proud that she had the Growlithe as her starter. She would like an Arcanine, of course, but didn't intent to evolve Hinote until level 34, when he learned Flamethrower. Woah, she'd gotten a little off track there. "Um, Hinote's a Fire type, so Bug Grass, Ice and Steel types won't do much damage to him, and also, his Ability is Flash Fire, so Fire type moves don't affect him at all." she spoke.
