Addison intended to become a semi-permanent fixture to the school's library- he certainly spent enough time there. In fact, that's where he was now, writing down some tips about raising Grass-type Pokemon, particularly Budew into Roselia.

For this activity, he had his shiny Budew, Affection, out of his Pokeball. The little Grass-type toddled around his area of the library, peering at book spines on the bottom shelf.

"'Water is essential to the well-being of Grass-type Pokemon, despite the type advantage of Grass over Water,'" he read out loud from his current book, and glanced over to Affection.

"I guess this means that you need baths, doesn't it?" he addressed the shiny. Said shiny was, however, more interested in exploring than listening, and walked behind a shelf without answering.

A shocked and muffled "EEP!" came from behind said shelf.

A girl scooted on her behind into view. A thick book was covering her face. 'Face the Fire: A Self Guide to Overcoming a Fear of Fire Types.' was on the cover.

"Please don't eat me, little grass monster! I promise I won't fall on you again! Honest!" Her words were shaky and fearful.

Of course, she would not have acted like that normally. A few minutes earlier, on her way to the Library no less, she had stumbled and fell on a Tropiary plant that looked similar to her "Little Grass Monster".

She had tried to fix it, but did an awefull job that only made the plant look worse. Now she thought that the plant was really a Pokemon, here to seek it's revenge.

"Bud?"

Affection was confused, having never really had much experience with other people. He couldn't fathom why this human was acting so weird, and so ran back to safety- to Addison.

Addison, however, had come in search of his Budew by now, and the two ran into each other. Affection fell over, while Addison just rubbed his shin. After scooping the little 'mon into a secure hold, Addison looked the girl over.

Purple hair, and a lot of black clothing. Didn't exactly look all that intellectual, which was detractive in his book.

He lifted his left eyebrow in question.

"Making enough noise there?"

Amoretta watched as the Budew ran from her, a little stunned. Okay, she might have overreacted, but what were the chances of seeing one just after (accidentally) destroying a bush that looked just like it?

When it fell she wanted to let out a "aww..." and then maybe help it up, but was silent.

"Making enough noise there?"

Amoretta jumped, and then proceeded to turn the shade of a tomato. Had someone just heard, or worse seen, her little display?

In a shoddy attempt to regain her composure, she stood and looked at her feet.

"Uh...er...S-sorry about that..." She muttered.

It was a boy who had asked the question, she could tell that, but she didn't have enough confidence to see who it was.

Her face turned a deeper red when she realized her book was now lying, cover up, right in the middle of the floor. She scrambled to get it before the other person noticed what he title was.
